Jerusalem candles are a modest gift from the Holy Land, carrying a particle of the Holy Fire.
A bunch of 33 candles, according to the number of years of the earthly life of Jesus Christ, forms the so-called "Jerusalem torch". So they are called, because tightly tied candles form, as it were, one candle. 

White candles are neutral and versatile in use. They protect the house and the person from possible curses, bring peace and harmony to relationships, endow with wisdom and generosity. Can be used in all life situations.

Before we send you candles, we consecrate them in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and burn them with the Holy Fire, so when they are lit in the future, they will burn with the same Holy Fire, bringing Divine Light into your home.

✗ Priests do not recommend separating a bunch of slashes.
✗ It is forbidden to light Jerusalem candles during the days of mourning, at Christmas, on Great Friday of Holy Week. 
✗ Jerusalem candles must not be blown out. You can extinguish them only by covering them with a cap or fingers, so the holiness and amazing properties of the Holy Fire will be preserved in them.
