Church of the Sepulchre of Virgin Mary, Jerusalem

The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located in Jerusalem on the Mount of Olives (Mount of Olives). It was erected directly above one of the main Christian Shrines - the Tomb of the Mother of God, where, according to Holy Tradition, the Most Holy Theotokos was buried by the apostles.

There are several other important Shrines in the Temple:

- Miracle-working Icon of Jerusalem
- And the burials of the parents of the Mother of God - the righteous Joachim and Anna.
