Nardovoe oil consecrated in Cuvuklia (on the Holy Sepulcher) with an olive leaf from the Garden of Gethsemane.

One of the oldest and most precious incense, nard oil is used as an incense but is also believed to have medicinal properties.

The anointing of Jesus Christ with nard oil or nard oil was performed at least twice. In the first case there was the anointing of the feet, and in the second case there was the anointing of the head.

From the Bible (I.12:3): “Mary, having taken a pound of pure precious ointment of nard, anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the world.”

In another Gospel (Matt. 26:6): "A woman came up to Him with an alabaster vessel of precious ointment and poured it out to Him who was reclining on his head."

The oil is packaged in a convenient bottle with a ball under the cap.

The Orthodox, in whose house such a vial is found, have a pious custom to anoint themselves with holy oil every morning, asking for blessings from the Lord for the coming day.

Sufferers who use this Holy Oil with faith and sincere prayer to the All-Merciful God receive healing from a wide variety of diseases.

Each bottle is consecrated in the Kuvuklia of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.
