Fragrant Myrrh Oil from the Holy Land
Fragrant myrrh oil has been made and used for Christian rituals for centuries.
After the crucifixion of Christ, the body of the Savior, taken down from the cross, was anointed with myrrh — this is where the name of the Stone of Anointing originates.
In the Old Testament, myrrh was made by the command of the Lord, who instructed Moses to prepare holy oil for anointing. In the books of the Old Testament, myrrh is listed as one of the 12 sacred Biblical fragrances, mentioned 156 times!
The oil has an amazing balsamic aroma.
It is used in religious and home settings for daily prayers, as well as for both spiritual and physical ailments:
- Face – for the sanctification of the mind and thoughts
- Hands – for the sanctification of the heart and desires
- Eyes, ears, mouth – for the sanctification of the Christian's senses
- Hands, feet – for righteous deeds
The oil beautifully calms, brings peace, and frees from vanity and excess.
The set includes 5 fragrances (10 ml each bottle):
- Nard
- Rose
- Jasmine
- Myrrh
- Amber
The oil has been consecrated at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on the Stone of Anointing!
