Calvary is the place where, according to the New Testament, Jesus Christ was crucified.
From John: "And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha." (John 19:17)
✔ A candle for health is lit for various intentions: as an expression of gratitude, for family well-being, to seek help in making a difficult decision, before a significant journey or an exam, or to pray for the health of oneself and loved ones.
✔ A candle for repose is lit in memory of a departed loved one, honoring their good memory and praying for their eternal rest.
Unfortunately, not everyone has the opportunity to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. That is why I offer my assistance in lighting a candle at this Holy Place on your behalf.
Simply write the names of those for whom you wish the candle to be lit. I will place the candle in accordance with all Orthodox canons.
Within 5 days of the trip, I will provide a photo or video report as confirmation.
