The column at the entrance to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is a witness to the miracle of the Holy Fire

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem is a living testimony of faith and many miracles. One of these miracles was the story of the split Column , which is still located at the entrance to the Temple, to the left of the main doors.

The Orthodox Christians did not despair. They remained to pray at the entrance, with fervent faith that the Lord would hear them. And a miracle happened!

The fire did not descend into the Kuvuklia as usual, but with a blow from above split the stone column at the entrance. Divine fire burst out of it, which immediately lit the candles in the hands of those praying outside.

This became a loud sign: nothing on earth can block the will of God .

Since then, this schism has become an eternal reminder of the power of living faith , of the fact that the Lord Himself opens the doors to those who come to Him with an open heart.

The column today

Thousands of pilgrims, coming to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, stop at this Column . The crack from the heavenly flame is still visible to everyone and everyone can touch it.
